FAQ

What do I need to get started?
Their are only two requirements to use the services of iDataForms, you need a browser and web site. Visitors to your site can use any browser when interacting with your iDataForms databases. However, for you to use our wizards to create your site's databases you will need to use either Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or FireFox.

I addition to a browser, you will need a web site that you want to create the application for. Remember, iDataForms is a web site application development system, and as such, requires a web site that you either own or are authorized to administer in order to work.

What is iDataForms infrastructure?
Our system infrastructure is housed in a state of the art datacenter that is staffed 24 hours a day. Physical access to our servers is controlled thru multiple levels of security. All of our database servers sit behind a hardware firewall and are fault tolerant systems that employ hot swappable level 5 RAID with standby hot spares and duel eathernet connections. Each database server operates independent from other servers in the cluster. In the event one server fails the remaining systems continue processing. Our database servers have a combined storage capacity of over 2 terabytes. All system resources are managed through hardware load balancers.

Are their any restrictions on the type of data that I can store in my database?
Yes, however these restrictions are not because of technical limitations in our system but are a matter of site policy. You may not use our system to store pornographic content, illegal content, content that encourages illegal activities, or patently offensive material.

iDataForms, LLC, reserves the right to terminate access to our services by anyone violating our policies. iDataForms, LLC, the developers of iDataForms, will have final say on the determination of what constitutes a violation of policy.
